Pedals power moonlight cinema at Sustainable Living Festival July 22, 2011

Earlier this year, our pedal-powered initiative Future Spark, helped Melbourne Girls College (MGC) power a moonlight cinema event. Organised as part of the Sustainable Living Festival, the MGC community spent the night picnicking and pedalling to generate electricity for an evening viewing session of the Disney Pixar film Wall-E.

MGC had been working closely with ideas* engineer Geoff Ball in the lead up to the event, with the school purchasing four Future Spark generator bikes for the school. To read more about the event click here.

The Future Spark project aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by engaging and informing people about energy. For more information about Future Spark call 1300 877 672 or visit the website.
