The price of an email at Green Cities 2010 March 1, 2010
The future spark trailer was in use last week at this years Green Cities Conference in Melbourne. The trailer was used to supply power to 6 laptop computers on the AE Smith Business Centre & Internet Cafe. Despite over 200 cyclists taking part the trailer fell just short of supplying the required 5 kWh per day. In the words of Raymond Lee, Marketing Manager at AE Smith “it just goes to show how precious electricity is, how difficult it is to create and why energy efficiency is so important”.
The ideas* team managed to take out Race 9 the AE Smith Mechanical Services Challenge and finished a respectable 11th overall.
